Freedom is not something to be held close, but given to all.

St. Pancake's family SUES!

Read the story for yourself.

I'll comment on this. This bitch protests. This bitch burns the US flag on foreign soil. This bitch takes sides against a United States ally.

Then she finds herself standing toe to toe with a bulldozer. Maybe she fancies herself a kindred spirit with the kid who stood up to a tank in Communist China back in 1989. I just don't know.

What I do know is that she was stupid enough to get in the way of heavy machinery that was armored in such a way that the driver of the bulldozer couldn't see that she was positioning herself underneath the 'dozer blade.

Dead stupid bitch.

Now Mommy Bitch and Daddy Bastard want to sue. As Kos might say, "Screw 'em."

The Corries, the best reason that this conservative can think of to keep abortion legal, are suing Israel, and just for good measure, they are also suing Caterpillar.

Maybe they ought to sue their OB-GYN, for assisting to bring a piece of trash like this into the world. Maybe they ought to sue the idiots over at Evergreen State Mental Institution, for falsely promising that their spawn would receive an education, when all this bitch got was an indoctrination.

Maybe they ought to sue the Palestinian Authority, for allowing her to be where she was, all the while knowing that she would be in danger.

Most of all, maybe they need to question themselves. Maybe they need to ask themselves "How could we have raised such a little bitch?"

*Disclaimer. I'll probably regret writing this when I get up in the morning. Been down with this flu-like crap for a couple of days and have been coughing so much, I hurt my neck. OTOH, Rachel Corrie just pisses me off. I'm not sorry she died. I just wish she had won a Darwin Award for her stupidity.

Hugo Chavez---methinks he needs a heart attack...

CARACAS, Venezuela--Maverick President Hugo Chavez said Friday that Iran has a "right" to a nuclear energy program.
He added that he'd back the Middle Eastern country in it's dispute with the United States over what Washingto sees as an attempt by Tehran to make atomic bombs.
Iran has the right to develop its atomic energy like any other country in the World.......

Any chance we can get the CIA involved? This guy's a moron who needs to know his role in the world.

Muslims issue fatwa against bin Laden

MADRID, Spain (AP) -- Muslim clerics in Spain issued what they called the world's first fatwa, or Islamic edict, against Osama bin Laden on Thursday, the first anniversary of the Madrid train bombings, calling him an apostate and urging others of their faith to denounce the al Qaeda leader.

Well, isn't that nice? Can they put some sort of bounty on his head? No, not the rest of him...just his head.

There should be enough DNA in that big ass dome to confirm it's the dirty bastard.

And now for some humor.....

A precious little girl walks into a pet shop and asks, in the sweetest little lisp, between two missing teeth, "Excuthe me, mithter, do you keep widdle wabbits?"
As the shopkeeper's heart melts, he gets down on his knees so that he's on her level and asks, "Do you want a widdle white wabbit, or a thoft and fuwwy bwack wabbit, or maybe one like that cute widdle bwown wabbit over there?"
She, in turn, blushes, rocks on her heels, puts her hands on her knees, leans forward and says, in a tiny quiet voice, "I don't think my python weally gives a thit."

Microsoft Gives First Key Details on New Xbox

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq:MSFT - news) on Wednesday gave some of the first key details on the next generation of its Xbox (news - web sites) video game system, which will include an emphasis on high-definition content, an integrated media browser and "microtransactions" for in-game purchases.

There was much rejoicing!

I, myself, own a PS2.....

It's all about freedom....yeah, right...

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraqi authorities found 41 decomposed bodies — some bullet-riddled, others beheaded — at sites near the Syrian border and south of the capital, and said Wednesday they included women and children who may have been killed because insurgents thought their families were collaborating with U.S. forces.

The insurgents just want to bring freedom to Iraq, right? How can the LLL possibly think that Iraq would be better off with the Islamofascists in control of the country?

Dan "the Man" Rather

His look is stonier and delivery stiffer than the man he succeeded, "Uncle Walter" Cronkite. Yet when grief envelops the nation — the astronauts dying in the Challenger —Dan Rather is the TV news anchor whose face flushes with emotion. Tonight, 24 years after he started, but one year shy of the silver anniversary he hoped to celebrate, Rather will anchor his last newscast on "CBS Evening News." About his exit, Rather pulls out a trademark "Danism": "Repotted plants grow faster and better." The Wharton native doesn't see himself retiring so much as switching jobs, though the transition comes at age 73. Above: Rather rehearses before a newscast Thursday in New York.

Thanks Dan. Now GTFO of my TV!

DFU SONG: Daniel (Dan Rather is saying goodbye)

Had to post this: Credit to Free Republic

MIDI Link-Daniel;Elton John

Danny is doing his Wednesday night show
Off into the sunset all the FReepers are watching him go

That partisan hack...he spent his years pushing his leftist views
It was quite amazing...people thought he was doing news

Danny, your Memogate scandal...is how you're finally nailed
You angered your execs...they suggested you bail
Dan, you are a phony...and so full of your baloney
Danny, wave goodbye...please say "courage," then cry-y-y-y-y

Danny still will not admit they were fake
Even though the whole world knows, he's stubborn and never will break

That partisan hack...he spent his years pushing his leftist views
It was quite amazing...people thought he was doing news

Danny, your Memogate scandal...is how you're finally nailed
You angered your execs...they suggested you bail
Dan, you are a phony...and so full of your baloney
Danny, wave goodbye...please say "courage," then cry-y-y-y-y

Castro has offered the evening news chair
We know that the commies will consider him balanced and fair

That partisan hack...he spent his years pushing his leftist views
It was quite amazing...people thought he was doing news

The political Spectrum

A thought that popped into my head (and no, it didn't hurt):

A liberal is someone who just got a job.
A conservative is someone who just got the first paycheck.

Not very deep, but if you think about it, you know I'm right.

Next time you're at lunch with one of the moonbat libs, take their sandwich and give it to the nearest bum...errrr....homeless person you can find. If there are no homeless people, just give it to the hungriest person you see.

Watch the moonbat go nuts.

I'm not sure that I like this.....

A telegram from Pope John Paul II has added to pressure on Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi to bow to the will of the people on the country's involvement in Iraq, following the death of special services agent Nicola Calipari, a brother of Pontifical Academy for Life bioethicist Fr Maurizio Calipari. The Missionary Service News Agency reports that the Pope sent two telegrams following the revelation that Calipari was fatally wounded as he shielded released Italian hostage Giuliana Sgrena from US military bullets at a Baghdad checkpoint.

This is truly disturbing information. I remember the Pope to be one of the instrumental forces in kicking out the Soviets from Eastern Europe in the 1980's and early '90's. I'm beginning to wonder if the "infallible" head of the Catholic Church has completely lost his marbles.

"Bow to the will of the people?" More like bow to the will of the communist sympathizers in Italy, who seem to have forgotten that it was because of Americans spilling their blood that Italy became a free country.

Has the Pope gone lefty on us? If this is to be the direction of the Catholic Church, which is, after all, an offshoot of Judiasm, then many Catholics may soon be rethinking their affiliation.

I'm already rethinking how much I pay in tithes at this point. If this Church is going to back the wrong horse in this war, I don't want them to get any more of my cash. I'd rather pay it directly to the IDF. I'll at least have the satisfaction of knowing that people who fight for freedom are the recipients of my hard earned cash.

Why am I not surprised?

BEIRUT, Lebanon - The militant group Hezbollah, largely on the fence since anti-Syrian protests erupted in Lebanon last month, switched gears Sunday and threw its weight behind Syria and its allies — calling for massive rallies in Beirut to show loyalty to Damascus.

Keep in mind, that Iran is the financier of Hezbollah, and that recently, Iran and Syria joined together in a mutual defense sort of way to try to deter anything that the West (read U.S.) might have in mind about the mad mullahs (or mad moo-las, as GWB has put it).

Why Israel hasn't crushed these bastards is beyond me. They're easy enough to find.

Cry me a frickin river.....

GUANTANAMO BAY
Captives allege religious abusePrisoners at Guantánamo Bay have complained of anti-Islamic abuses by guards and interrogators, including defilement of the Koran.BY CAROL ROSENBERG
crosenberg@herald.com
Captives at the Guantánamo Bay prison are alleging that guards kicked and stomped on Korans and cursed Allah, and that interrogators punished them by taking away their pants, knowing that would prevent them from praying.
Guards also mocked captives at prayer and censored Islamic books, the captives allege. And in one incident, they say, a prison barber cut a cross-shaped patch of hair on an inmate's head.

Wow. That's just horrible. These atrocities are just horrible. The minor crimes committed on Americans pale in comparison to these....NOT!

Take a look at something committed in the name of their barking moon-god.

islamofascists. F*ck 'em

And what the F**K would you expect?

So, let's take a look at the incident. A reporter for an Italian Communist fishwrap is taken hostage in Iraq by insurgents (I have my suspicions about her "hostage" status, by the way), and a month of negotiations take place to win her freedom. She's finally freed by the insurgents, and while she is returning from her nightmare, she runs straight into a brand new one. Her car comes under fire from American troops, killing the Italian Intelligence officer that won her freedom, wounding another, and wounding the reporter in the fracas.

I have a very hard time buying into all of this. Of course, the MSM, in it's impartiality, makes the US Troops out to be the instigators of the whole thing, but let's take a look at the information we have seen thus far.

According to witnesses, the Italians were speeding towards a US checkpoint near the Baghdad airport. The driver ignored hand signals to stop, ignored arm signals, and even ignored flashing lights and warning shots. Folks, these are uniformed US soldiers! It's not like they were dressed in jeans and t-shirts. The soldiers are easily recognnized! Only after all of the warnings and signals were ignored, the order to fire was given in order to stop the vehicle. Soldiers shot into the engine block, and apparently, stray fire entered the passenger compartment of the car.

One dead, and two injured. This could have all been avoided, but the Italians, who up to this point had been working closely with American Intelligence to win the hostage's release, didn't even coodinate or inform the Americans that the hostage had been released! What kind of lunacy is this?

Like I said, I have my suspicions. I don't consider myself a conspiracy theorist, but I wonder if the whole incident was staged by someone with an agenda. It's not like this reporter was any great friend of the United States.

Martha Stewart-Free at last!

The domestic diva, Martha Stewart, is due to be released from prison at any moment. Was she made an example of in front of the entire nation? Of course she was. Did she deserve jail time? Perhaps. But in an age when violent offenders are sent to work camps, and even more lenient sentences are handed out to wifebeaters and other miscreants, it seems that any jail time for a 63 year old woman was a stupid idea.

The US Supreme Court (well, five morons who happened to be lucky enough to be chosen, anyway) gives a free pass to Kids who Kill, and allow grandmas who lie to federal agents to be sent to prison. Yep, our government is out there protecting us from women who dump shitty stocks, while your grandma is being killed by brats whose parents never learned to keep their kids in line. Color me impressed.

On a side note, Usama bin Laden is telling his little minion to attack the United States. Formal Announcement: Terrorists, come to Texas, PLEASE! We'll welcome you and give you the hospitality you so richly deserve. We'll have lots of fun, show you the sights, and if you're lucky, we'll let you date some of our wimmin...

Islamists...Fuck YOU!

The Ten Commandments

I find it interesting that a bum(what you people call homeless) is now arguing before the USSC about whether the Ten Commandments should be allowed to remain on the capitol grounds in Austin, TX.

In case you are all wondering, the United States Constitution includes a series of Amendments called the Bill of Rights. This series includes something called the First Amendment, which we will show to you here:

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Note here that the amendment says that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...

This means, quite correctly, that the legislative branch cannot establish a state religion. That means that it is against federal law to force you to pray to my God. It is also against the federal law for you to stop me from praying to my God.

It says not one thing about allowing a civilization document to be represented anywhere in this country. The Ten Commandments, whether given by God or devised by man, is the cornerstone of Western Civilization. It is the basis by which we all live our lives (or are supposed to anyway).

To refresh your memory, let me give you my copy of the Ten Commandments here:

I am the LORD your God, you shall have no other gods before me.

You shall not take the Name of the LORD your God in vain.

Keep holy the Sabbath day.

Honor your father and your mother.

You shall not kill.

You shall not commit adultery.

You shall not steal.

You shall not bear false witness.

You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.

You shall not covet your neighbor's goods.

Now, I don't expect that everyone follows these. I do expect that people understand that this is a civilizational document; that is, Westen civilization was developed around these simple rules. If these had not been developed,it is entirely possible that civilization would never have been born. We would be busy killing, raping and stealing our lives away on a grand scale.

To display these is not always an endorsement of religion; it is a simple statement of some of the earliest law of man.

Is there a God? Of course, the only way we will know is after we die. I'm not about to push religion on any of you.

Must we be civilized? Absolutely. Otherwise, we humans would have killed ourselves off long ago.
